Have you already registered for Wizz Air Sofia Marathon 2026, but need to change some of your personal details? Would you like to switch to a different distance, or have unforeseen circumstances made it impossible for you to participate?

Things happen and plans sometimes change. That’s why it’s important to know the deadlines and conditions for making changes to an existing registration.

Here are the three important dates you need to keep in mind.

Until August 26: Cancellation and Registration Fee Refund

If, for any reason, you are unable to take part in Wizz Air Sofia Marathon 2026, you can cancel your registration no later than 45 days before the start of the marathon – by August 26, 2026.

To do so, please send your request to [email protected], including your registration details.

Your registration fee will be refunded by bank transfer, minus any administrative fees associated with the transaction.

Important: After August 26, registration fees cannot be refunded.

Until September 9: Changing Your Race Distance

Did you register for one distance but decide during your training that another one would be more suitable for you?

You can request a change of distance until September 9, 2026, 30 days before the race.

Changes can only be made if race bibs are still available for the requested distance. Please send your request to [email protected].

Please keep in mind that each distance at Wizz Air Sofia Marathon 2026 has a limited participant quota. Once the quota for a particular distance is reached, registration for that distance will close.

Until October 1: Free Changes to Personal Information

If you notice after registering that some of your personal information needs to be corrected or changed, you can do so until October 1, 2026.

Until this date, changes can be requested by email only at [email protected].

After October 1, this service will be subject to a fee, and changes can only be made in person at the Race Office. Prices will be announced at a later date.

Remember These Three Important Dates

• August 26, 2026 – deadline for cancelling your participation and receiving a refund of the registration fee;
• September 9, 2026 – deadline for requesting a change of distance, subject to availability;
• October 1, 2026 – deadline for making changes to your personal information by email without an additional fee.
